About The Role

Calcot Services for Children are growing and we are looking to recruit a Registered Manager to join our team.

We are looking for someone who wishes to make a difference to our children & young people’s lives and has proven experience of management at a senior level in a residential setting.

As the Registered Manager of an SEMH Residential Children’s Home you will support Calcot Services for Children to ensure that a warm, nurturing, accepting therapeutic environment is evidenced, delivered and developed in accordance with the Company’s core values.

You will be responsible for the successful day to day running of the home whilst directing a team of qualified professionals, as well as inputting into the continuous strategic planning for developments within the home.

About You

As part of your role we would like you to join us with the following:

  • An ability to lead a team and to work as part of a team alongside building professional relationships with all external agencies
  • An ability to provide consistency of care and support to the young people
  • Resilience and perseverance to manage and lead others during challenging periods within the home
  • An ability to advocate and have unreserved  commitment to support and represent disadvantaged and vulnerable groups
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of governing legislation for children’s homes (Ofsted)
  • Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent
  • Commitment to obtain (if not held) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Service
