About The Role

Eton Dorney Therapeutic School is a nurturing and friendly school where each person is valued and respected as an individual. About You

In this pivot role, you will deliver nationally accredited English courses to KS3 and KS4 students.

To liaise with the Headteacher, other teachers, and other providers and appropriate exam boards.

To support our Independent Therapeutic School for NQT and QTS teachers.

Eton Dorney is a therapeutic school that specialises in meeting the needs of neuro diverse young people with needs such as, developmental language delay, higher-functioning autism and language/communication difficulties which put their emotional and mental health at risk.

Established in 2018 we place an equal emphasis on the educational, social, and psychological development of our young people.  The key to the success of the school is a strong ethos, developed by a highly experienced and capable staff, and the strength of the relationships between the staff and the young people..

We deliver a broad and balanced curriculum with a positive focus on Empowerment, Independence and Accreditation that will enable the best transition into the next phase of their educational setting or employment.

This family focused school has a happy and positive atmosphere in which children can fulfil their potential and grow in self-confidence with respect for the people and environment around them.  We have recently expanded to have places for 50 young people, taught in classes of no more than 8 and work with a highly skilled therapeutic and education team.
