Calcot Services for Children are growing and we are looking to recruit a Registered Manager to join for one of our beautiful homes. 

We are looking for someone who wishes to make a difference to our children & young people’s lives and has proven experience of management at a senior level, preferably in a residential setting.

As the Registered Manager of a Residential Children’s Home you will support Calcot Services for Children to ensure that a warm, nurturing, accepting therapeutic environment is evidenced, delivered and developed in accordance with the Company’s core values.

You will be responsible for the successful day to day running of the home whilst directing a team of qualified professionals, as well as inputting into the continuous strategic planning for developments within the home.

You must have experience and a high level of skill in working with non-verbal children and is able to creatively apply communication tools and strategies to support young people. 

About You

As part of your role we would like you to join us with the following:

  • An ability to lead a team and to work as part of a team alongside building professional relationships with all external agencies
  • To be able to provide consistency of care and support to the young people
  • Resilience and perseverance to manage and lead others during challenging periods 
  • To be able to advocate and have unreserved  commitment to support and represent disadvantaged and vulnerable groups
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of governing legislation for children’s homes
  • Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent
  • Commitment to obtain (if not held) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Service
